There’s 100% Australian fruit in Grove Juice bottles and it’s also 100%  Australian owned. The company was first established in 1969 by the Estens family – as a home delivery business, providing fresh juice direct to families in and around Brisbane. About 20 years later, the Willis family bought the business and grew it to become one of the largest fresh juice processors in the country.

In 1990, the business was moved from Buranda to larger premises in Mansfield. In 2011, they maintained the headquarters in Mansfield but moved the processing plant to a purpose-built factory in Warwick to be closer to the growing areas.

Many different fruits are hand picked and processed in the state-of-the-art factory where they’re chilled, squeezed daily, bottled within 3 hours and delivered chilled to customers within 3 days. They began with citrus but now apples, pineapples, kiwi fruit, passionfruit, mangoes and guavas are used in the blends and 50,000 litres of juice is produced daily.

The Willis family are keen to maintain the founding principles of the small company they bought. They’re proud to retain a connection to the days of home delivery by ensuring quality products and superior service.

These days, many cafe owners and their customers want to know where their food comes from and how many ‘food miles’ it has travelled. They believe ‘the fresher the better’ and ‘the closer the better’. They’re keen to support ‘Australian-owned’ and ‘family-run’ businesses. They also want ‘chemical-free’ products. Grove Juice certainly ticks the box in each of these requirement for cafe owners.
